What is NEUROMUSCULAR therapy? Great question!

Neuromuscular massage is a form of Medical massage. It is massage with a critical thinking backbone that uses assessments, anatomy, physiology, and pathology to create treatment sessions for persistent low back pain, mild to chronic body pain, carpal tunnel, migraines, TMJ dysfunction, pre and post surgery recovery, or simply increasing range of motion for athletic performance.

Meet Your Therapist

My name is Amy Dalton, I am a 14+ year veteran, a former helicopter mechanic now turned people mechanic. Body mechanics is my passion, discovering how and why things move. As a result of me diving into my own healing, I changed my career at 30 to Neuromuscular Therapy. My passion for  preventative care, connecting mind with body, client education and easing pain has created the foundation of this business.

I value collaborative care, meaning I work with other practitioners, and your own body to create function where pain existed. The body is our tool into our human experience.  In my efforts to maintain my body, I power lift, do yoga, bike, hike, completed Spartan Trifecta, Tai Chi anything that keeps me moving and enjoying life. This allows me first hand experience of movement and the opportunity to combine it with intuition and knowledge to help heal.

Amy Dalton was fantastic. She focused on the areas that needed work, and worked on my adhesions. I will definitely come back and see her.

Amy was awesome! She’s very knowledgeable, and the most knowledgeable massage therapist I have had. She’s does a great job with the before (finding out what’s needed), and the after (clarifying what was done and it’s benefit). I’m definitely looking forward to my next session with her.

By far the best massage I’ve had in many years. Amy is very knowledgeable and intuitive. She was able to bring me relief from pain and tightness in my neck, shoulders and hips.
